Ice cream, regular fat, vanilla with confectionery, with waffle cone, chocolate coated
Australian produced frozen ice confection consisting of vanilla ice cream in a waffle cone with chocolate coating inside the cone and on top of the ice cream and sugar coated chocolate pieces spread throughout the ice cream. Cornetto and Drumstick with added confectionary pieces (e.g. Smarties) are examples of this style of product.
The majority of nutrients were derived from a composite sample of 8 purchases (4x Peters Vanilla Drumstick, 4x Streets Vanilla Cornetto) in Adelaide in May 1995. Iodine was estimated from vanilla ice cream. Folate was imputed from vanilla ice cream. Caffeine was estimated based on approximate proportion of chocolate. Fatty acids were imputed from chocolate coated vanilla ice creams. Note low sum of proximates - data should be used with caution.
