The majority of nutrients including proximates, vitamins and minerals were derived from a composite of 6 samples of pressed shoulder bacon fried after purchased. Brands of bacon analysed included 2x Farmland breakfast slices, 2x Chapmans breakfast rashers, 2x Conroys rolled shoulder bacon. Fatty acid data was imputed from grilled breakfast rasher bacon.
