Avocado, fuerte, raw

Almost pear shaped, with a green shiny skin and a delicate yellow flesh with a green outer hue.

Proximates, vitamins, minerals and some fatty acids were derived from a composite of 1 kg of fuerte avocados when in season from five outlets in Sydney during 1983-1984 (Wills et al. 1986). Retinol and cholesterol were imputed.
