Proximates, vitamins, minerals and fatty acids were derived from a composite sample of 4 purchases of 2 brands (Deb and Edgell) of instant mashed potato powder from Adelaide. Dried mix was mixed with fluid (3 parts water to 1 part milk), according to packet directions.
