Commercially prepared thin french inspired sauce used to dress salads. Formulated to be reduced in fat. Major ingredients include sugar, vinegar and spices.

The majority of nutrients including proximates, vitamins and minerals were derived from a composite sample of six purchases of light or no oil french dressing including two brands (4x Kraft & 2x Fountain) purchased in Adelaide in 1990 (AGAL 1990). Cholesterol was imputed based on international literature.
