Pea, green, fresh, boiled, drained

A small round green seed, boiled in unsalted water, then drained.

Proximates, vitamins and minerals were derived from a composite of four purchases of fresh peas from Sydney outlets in 1982. Peas were boiled in unsalted water, then drained (Wills et al. 1984). Retinol, folic acid and cholesterol were imputed. Iodine, As, Cr, Mo, Se were derived from a composite sample purchased in at least three states in 2004 and cooked by microwaving.
