Organic acids were derived from a composite of 10 purchases of 4 flavours (3x Sunkist Orange, 1x Fanta Orange, 1x Pub Squash Lemon, 2x Kirks Pasito Passionfruit, 2x Schweppes Lemonade, 1x Sprite Lemonade) of non-cola flavoured soft drink purchased nationally in each state and territory capital city and 2 regional centres in NSW and QLD (2006 - KFP). Sugars were derived from the individual analysis of the 4 orange flavour purchases in the same program. Minerals, vitamin C were determined in a composite of 6 purchases of 2 brands (5x Fanta, 1x Sunkist) of orange flavoured soft drink purchased in Adelaide (1990 - AGAL). I, Cr, Mo, Ni, Se were determined in a composite of 6 purchases of soft drink (all flavours) purchased in 3 states (2004 - 22nd ATDS). Fat, protein, starch and vitamins were imputed as 0.
