Dairy blend, butter & canola oil spread, reduced fat (44% fat) & salt

A spread that is a blend of butter and canola oil with a total fat content of around 44%. Reduced salt content. Contains added vitamins A and D.

Proximates, vitamins, minerals and fatty acid were derived from a composite sample of one brand (Devondale Dairy, Extra Soft, Reduced Fat Spread) (AGAL 1990). Proximates, vitamins and minerals were also derived from reduced fat dairy spread (ADC 1991). Total fat, PUFA, MUFA and SFA estimated from relevant literature values. Moisture calculated by difference. Vitamin D is based on permissions outlined in the Food Standards Code.
