Carrot, mature, peeled, boiled, drained

Root vegetable with orange flesh and green leaves/stem. Cooked from raw by boiling in unsalted water then drained.

Proximates, iodine and the majority of vitamins were derived from individual and composite samples of 10 purchases of carrot from all Australian States and Territories in 2008 (2008 KFP). Minerals and organic acids were calculated from raw mature carrot.
