Hi david. I have been sugar free for 6 months. I eat less because my appetite is now controlled, as you stated in your books (i’ve read sweet poison quit plan and big fat lies, the latter 3 times ). i’m 5 ft 10 in, and weigh 80kg. the trouble is i have NOT lost weight, despite eating less and avoiding sugar.
i’ve also avoided seed oils for the same length of time.
i want to lose 3 to 5 more kg but it’s not happening.
Robert the short answer is to avoid foods that contain starch (bread, grains, pasta etc) for a while and see what happens – the long answer relates to salivary amylase and I will put a proper article out about that shortly
