Carbonated, non-alcoholic beverage prepared from water, sugar and citric acid.

Organic acids were derived from a composite of 10 purchases of 4 flavours (3x Sunkist Orange, 1x Fanta Orange, 1x Pub Squash Lemon, 2x Kirks Pasito Passionfruit, 2x Schweppes Lemonade, 1x Sprite Lemonade) of non-cola flavoured soft drink purchased nationally in each state and territory capital city and 2 regional centres in NSW and QLD (2006 - KFP). Sugars were derived from the individual analysis of the 3 lemonade purchases in the same program. Minerals were derived from a composite sample of 2 brands of lemonade purchased in Adelaide (1990 - AGAL). I, Cr, Mo, Ni, Se were determined in a composite of 6 purchases of soft drink (all flavours) purchased in Qld, SA and WA (2004 - 22nd ATDS). Fats, protein starch and vitamins were imputed as 0.
