Sauce, worcestershire, commercial

Commercially prepared fermented liquid condiment made with vinegar, molasses, golden syrup, salt, water, spices, soy sauce, pepper, tamarinds, anchovies, lemon oil, onion and garlic powder.

The majority of nutrients including proximates, vitamins and minerals were derived from a composite sample of 2 brands (Cornells, Holbrooks) of worcestershire sauce, purchased in Adelaide supermarkets in 1990 (Soups and Sauces Program). Fatty acids were imputed from anchovies canned in oil, drained.
