Rice bran, extruded or low processed

Outer layer of rice, removed during milling and reformed by extrusion.

The majority of nutrients including sugars, fatty acids and some vitamins and minerals were provided by the food industry and reflects rice grown in Southern NSW (Rice growers Co-op). Mn, Cl, Se, S, F, ATOC, B6, pantothenate and biotin were derived from a composite sample of 8 packets of Sunfarm rice bran purchased in Adelaide (1993 Cereal Catch-up Program). Folate borrowed from the USDA, record 20060.
