Herring, Atlantic, pickled

Herring fillets preserved by pickling in a brine and canning or bottling. Drained from brine. Imported into Australia.

The majority of nutrients were borrowed from USDA, record 15041 Herring, Atlantic, Pickled, (USDA, 2005). Iodine, retinol and vitamin D are borrowed from the Danish tables, record 0871, Herring, pickled, spiced, canned. Note low sum of proximates - data should be used with caution.
