The majority of nutrients including proximates, vitamins, minerals and fatty acids were derived from a composite sample of 3 brands of ham & chicken roll, purchased in Sydney in 1981/82. A composite sample of 6 products of ham & chicken roll was also analysed by AGAL in 1989. Brands analysed included 1x Chapmans (ham & chicken flavoured fritz), 1x Homebrand (ham & chicken flavoured luncheon), 1x Woolworths (ham & chicken flavoured luncheon), 1x Farmland (ham & chicken flavoured luncheon), 1x Dandy (ham & chicken flavoured fritz) and 1x Watsonia (ham & chicken, slices). I, Ca, Na and K were also derived from a composite sample of 8 luncheon meats, purchased in Melbourne in 2006.
