Cod, smoked, steamed or poached

Fillets of cod preserved by cold or liquid smoking so that the fish has an orange colour. Cooked by poaching or steaming.

The majority of nutrients were derived from a composite of 6 samples purchased in Adelaide during 1986 and poached. Water, Se, I, F, Cl, Mn, vitamin D, tocopherols, pantothenate and B12 were derived from a composite of 6 samples of fish imported from South Africa and the Shetland Isles, cooked by steaming, purchased in Melbourne in June 2000. Fibre was imputed.
