Swede, peeled, raw

Root vegetable with yellow flesh and pale yellow skin. Uncooked.

The majority of nutrients including proximates, vitamins and minerals were derived from 5 purchases of raw Swede from local supermarkets spread across the socioeconomic scale in Sydney in 1983 (Wills et al 1984). Cholesterol and retinol were imputed zero based on scientific literature. Folate was borrowed from the USDA, record 11435.
