Raw meat from whole rabbit carcase, offal and bone removed.

Proximates, fatty acids, Ca, Mg, Na and P were derived from individual analysis of 20 samples of whole rabbit carcase provided by 2 suppliers in NSW & Vic (Beilken et al 2007). Starch, vitamins and remaining minerals were derived from analysis of a composite sample of 6 purchases of fresh rabbit from local butchers in SA in December 1991 (AGAL 1992). Tryptophan was determined in a composite sample of 4 fresh unbranded rabbits purchased from local butchers in Melbourne in April 1991 (AGAL 1991). Fibre was imputed as zero.
