Commercially produced chicken and vegetable based filling enclosed in pastry, purchased ready to eat.

I, Na, fat and fatty acids were determined in 2 individual samples of chicken and vegetable pies purchased from bakeries and takeaway outlets in SA in 2009 (2008 TFA program). Starch and sugar based on label information available for Balfours chicken and vegetable pie in 2010. Protein, dietary fibre and ash imputed from meat pie.
