The majority of nutrients including proximates, vitamins and minerals were derived from a composite sample of 4 gravy products, purchased from Kentucky Fried Chicken stores in Sydney in 1981. Protein, sugar, fibre, fat, starch and sodium values were updated with label information available in 2010. Moisture determined by difference.
