Grapefruit, peeled, raw

Large, slightly tart citrus fruit. The rind is mostly yellow, and often tinged with green or red, with white pulp.

The majority of nutrients were derived from samples collected in April 1984 from various outlets in Sydney (Wills et al, 1985). Fibre, carotenes, some minerals, ATOC, B6, pantothenate and biotin and fibre were derived from 10 samples of Marsh grapefruit from various outlets in VIC in January 1998 (AGAL 1998). Retinol, cholesterol, fatty acids, MALT, LACT, lactic and quinic acids were imputed based on international literature.
