Flour, wheat, wholemeal, plain

Flour milled from whole wheat grain (bran, germ and flour). No added vitamins, minerals or leavening agents.

Sugars, fatty acids, vitamins and minerals were derived from a composite sample of 2 brands of flour (2x Lion Stone Ground and 2x Pro Vita Stone ground) purchased in Adelaide (AGAL 1987 - cereal and cereal products). Starch, Cl, Se, S, F, ATOC, pyridoxine, pantothenate and biotin were derived from a composite sample of 4 brands of flour (2x Lion, 2x Defiance, 2xThe Old Grain Mill and 2x Naytura) purchased in Adelaide (1993 Cereal catch up program). Folate from the 97/98 ANZFA Folate Program.
