The majority of nutrients including proximates, vitamins, fatty acids and tryptophan were derived from a composite of 10 purchases of Kellogg's Corn Flakes purchased nationally in each state and territory capital city and two regional centres in NSW and QLD (2006 - KFP). Cholesterol, Cu, F, Mg, Mn, P, S, Se, B6, biotin and moisture were determined in a composite sample of 6 boxes of Kellogg's Corn Flakes purchased in SA (1993 - Cereal Catch-Up Program). Folate and moisture was determined in a composite of 6 purchases of corn flakes (4x Kellogg's Corn Flakes, 1x Sanitarium Skippy Cornflakes, 1x Farmland Cornflakes) purchased in Sydney (2005 - AIP). Fe, Na and Zn were from Kellogg's Corn Flakes label information (2010). Retinol is imputed as 0.
