Beverage base, soy, dry powder (not infant food)

Dried extract of soy beans, used to prepare reconstituted soy beverages.

Proximates, fatty acids, retinol, beta carotene equivalents, B3, folate, and cholesterol were prepared for AUSNUT 1999. The remaining nutrients were derived from a composite of 2 brands of dried soy milk purchased in Sydney in 1995. Note low sum of proximates - data should be used with caution.
